What is 2G spectrum?
Second generation wireless telephone technology. The 2G was commercially launched by Finland bu Radiolinja in 1991. The main three benefits of 2G are as follows
- Phone conversations digitally encrypted
- 2G system more efficient on the spectrum
- Introduced data services for mobile like SMS
